"The Basics"

In these tough economic times we found it necessary to put together a basic package to allow clients on a budget to still receive the benefits of a database backed website. The basic package will allow the client complete control over the content on their pages and a functioning contact form. The package is described as follows:

Public Sections

• Basic Front Pages: Public pages to show the content from the content management system. Three pages include a Home/Welcome page, and About Us page, and a third page chosen by the client. Typically the third page is about products or Services.

• Contact: This page will display relevant contact information such as  phone, email and address, as well as a contact form for visitors to fill out. The form results will be saved in the database and emailed. The content of this page will be controlled by the ADE Contact page in the interface.

• Templates: These pages will contain the graphics and other layout elements  that the content of all the other pages of the website will be placed into. By separating the design from the function will allow a greater latitude in future upgrades to the website. It also makes it easier to keep the website looking uniform.

• Domain Registration: We will handle the registration of your domain name.

• Web Hosting: We will arrange for your web hosting at a facility that will provide all the services necessary for your site to operate properly.

Private Sections

• Contact: This page will allow access to the information captured from the contact form. The information will be able to be browsed online and/or downloaded in CSV format, which you could use in a mailing program.

• Content: This section will allow the logged in user from the client to make changes to the text and photos that appear on various pages throughout the site.

Web Development

• Testing: We do not want to put your website out on the World Wide Web until it is perfect! Therefore, we put just as much effort into proofing, testing links, and making sure the overall site is working properly before we go live with it.
• HTML Development: HTML is the language of the web. This universal web language will be the foundation for your entire web presence.
• PHP Scripting: This is advanced scripting language we will use in order to make your website highly interactive and easy to use.
• Graphic Design: We will work with your existing graphics, but we will still need to develop and optimize for the web.

Web Hosting

• Domain Registration: We will register your domain name and make sure it is set up properly to point to your web site
• Web Hosting: We will arrange for hosting that has all the features necessary for your website to function properly
