Frequenty Asked Questions
- How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website varies with the needs and budget of each individual client. Web development is a service business and we feel that packages of "cookie cutter" websites are a disservice to our clients. We provide a quality service at a fair price.
A typical site ranges from $500 to $2000.
- Why do I need a database?
A database simplifies the functionality of a dynamic website. Popuating a database with 1000 records is much easier than building 1000 web pages, and a database is "searchable" so your customers will have an easier time finding what they need. If you have a spreadsheet of products and/or services that could be used to populate your database and get your website up and running quickly.

- What is a database backed website?
A database backed website is one in which the content is stored in a database and the pages are put together at runtime. This opens a lot of doors that are not available with traditional "static" websites. You have a form based interface where you can add/edit/delete the content in the database and the changes happen to the website in real time. You also have the ability to store user input for a variety of uses such as mailing lists, site personalization, and statistics.
