If you've found your way here we assume this is not the first web developer site you've looked at, but we want it to be the last. We are not your "typical" web designers, in fact we're not designers at all, we're developers. What's the difference? In 10 words or less, designers are artists and developers are programmers. The difference is more than that though, the difference is the functionality and interactivity that a developer can provide for you that designers cannot.
Every site on the web contains some "design", but only the successful ones contain "development." Look at the most successful sites on the web, Ebay, Amazon, Yahoo, Cnet, and others. What is it about those sites that makes them successful? Is it the way they look? NO, it is their functionality and interactivity that makes them successful. Those sites are actually interfaces to large databases that provide dynamic content depending on user input.
